I used to do it with Dolphin Emulator when I was at school. Steam seems to pass xbox controller input just fine. Radius has been replaced with calibration in recent versions of Dolphin. I don't know of any games specifically made for PC, but the Dolphin emulator can play some Wii games (and can use the Wiimote as a control if your computer has Bluetooth support).
Extract the contents and open the executable dolphin.exe. It can be used as a different desktop environment.
